C. Sherfy Jones, CLU, ChFC, JD passed away on May 2, 2022 at the age of 90. Sherfy was a special leader in our profession and our organization- an unwitting mentor to many, admired, respected and loved by those who were fortunate to get to know him. Sherfy will be missed.

Lawrence Holzberg, LUTCF, LACP, President of NAIFA will be a featured speaker during NAIFA-Greater Washington, D.C.'s Annual Success Summit on April 26th. His presentation will review the State of NAIFA and challenge insurance and financial professionals to be the best they can be.

On August 29, 2021, Maxie-Ellen Lechter, mother of former NAIFA-Greater Washington DC Executive Director, Mary Lechter-Murray, passed away at the age of 92. Maxie-Ellen was married to her husband, Sidney, for 73 years and had four children, Michael, William, Robert, and Mary.
