Bruce brings more than 55 years of leadership in the world of financial services as an Advisor, Mentor, Author, and Speaker. His books, “See the People”, and “Reflect & Prepare”, are international best sellers, as are his tapes and CD’s which continue to change the lives of salespeople around the world. A renowned speaker, he has spoken to almost every major insurance and financial planning organization in the world.
Bruce resides in Ontario where is he an active member in his community, his company Bruce Etherington and Associated is dedicated to family harmony and philanthropy. Bruce Seeks to earn his client’s advocacy by making a positive difference in their lives while “helping others, help others”. He is the co-founder of the Annual Sports Celebrities Festival (in aid of Canadian Special Olympics), now the largest single fundraising event in the world for Special Olympics.
He is also an advocate for the industry and its interests. Most notably, he is a founding member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU) – today the most effective tax lobby group for financial advisors in Canada. Etherington was also a Co-founder of Action Committee Taxation (ACT) in 1977, which successfully opposed the Canadian Federal Government’s proposed “Widow’s Tax”.
